I think we can all agree that the best part about making chocolate chip cookies is eating the raw dough. Even though we are at risk of getting salmonella poisoning and the worst tummy ache imaginable, we are willing to take that risk because it just tastes too damn good.
Well, good news! With this recipe, you no longer have to worry about feeling sick from eating raw cookie dough! Let’s ditch the eggs and add cream cheese to make a cookie dough dip everyone can enjoy without any worry!
1 package (8oz) of cream cheese
1 stick (1/2 cup) of unsalted butter
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tbps. of flour
1 bag of mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 bag of M&M’s
What to do:
In a medium size bowl, add your cream cheese and butter. Make sure both of these ingredients are softened.
Along with the cream cheese and butter, add your sugars. Blend these ingredients together with a hand-held mixer.
Next, add in your salt, vanilla extract, and flour. Be sure to blend until there are no lumps!
Once your batter is looking creamy, you can add your chocolate chips and M&M’s! You can choose to add sprinkles or any of your favorite candies!
Serve in a bowl with some pretzels and let everyone dig into this cookie dough dip!
Once you’ve all had your fill and are left with some extra cookie dough dip, you can add some more flour and baking soda to bake into real cookies! Be sure to take into the count the measurements and follow a standard egg-free cookie recipe!
